Just like Islam has prohibited Zinaa(adultery), it has also prohibited the practice of homosexuality.
The prophet said :
إِنَّ أَخْوَفَ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي عَمَلُ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ
What I fear most from my Ummah is the behavior of the people of Lot.
(TIRMIZI 1377)
The sin committed by the people of Lot was homosexuality.
The prophet said :
مَلْعُونٌ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلَ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ
“May Allaah curse him who does what Lot’s people did.”
(AHMAD 2764)
The prophet said :
لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ أَتَى رَجُلًا أَوِ امْرَأَةً فِي الدُّبُرِ
“Allah will not look at a man who enters a man or a woman in the behind.”
(TIRMIZI 1086)
The prophet said :
مَنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ يَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْفَاعِلَ وَالْمَفْعُولَ بِهِ
“If you find anyone doing as Lot’s people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.”
(ABU DAOUD 3869)
Al-Fudayl Ibn Iyaad said :
لو أن لوطيا اغتسل بكل قطرة من السماء لقي الله غير طاهر
“If a homosexual were to try to purify himself with every drop of water from the sky, he would still meet Allah (after death) in a filthy state.”
